How this squash court booking system works...

System Access

The system includes this website and separate touch screens installed on the club premises, allowing members to book and cancel their courts from the club premises, home, office, or anywhere else with Internet access.

Access is restricted to members who are assigned with usernames and passwords, as well as PIN numbers.

Booking courts with the touch screen

Members use their PIN numbers to book (or cancel) courts with the touch screen(s) on the club premises.

Booking courts with the website

Members login to this website with their usernames and passwords to book and cancel courts.

Members can optionally select an opponent to show on the booking sheet.

Updating login and contact details

When logged in to the website, members can change their passwords and PIN numbers at any time. They can also update their email address details and other contact details.

Forgotten Password (and PIN numbers)

The website has a Forgotten Password feature which automatically sends a reminder of the username, password, and PIN number to the member's email address.

Booking Rules (summary)

From 07.00 hrs on any given day, members can book courts up to 14 days in advance.

Team fixtures and other block bookings

An administrator can block courts any number of days in advance for team fixtures, tournaments and other events which require courts to be blocked out.

Automatic email notifications

The system automatically sends an email confirmation to the member who has booked a court.

Members can register to receive automatic email alerts to notify them when courts have been cancelled. The system allows members to choose the weekday and a timeframe of cancelled courts.

Member's Directory

Once logged-in to this website, members can look-up contact details of other members, but will only find details of members who have explicitly chosen to show their details in the Members' Directory.

The contact details which are shown in the Members' Directory are only the home phone, office phone, mobile and email address.

These details are only shown to members who have logged-in to the website. These details can NOT be accessed otherwise on the World Wide Web.

Management System

The club administrators have access to a separate system to manage the members' database, to block courts for team matches, tournaments and other events, and to edit pages within the website.
